Cavro® Omni Robot

Flexible OEM liquid handling robot

The Cavro Omni Robot is a general purpose liquid handling component designed to offer reliable pipetting for a wide range of applications, including clinical diagnostics, life sciences and analytical chemistry.

Its flexible, modular construction makes the Cavro Omni Robot easy to integrate into almost any instrument design, with a range of options to suit your pipetting needs.

Xantus modules

The integration of external modules and accessories is simplified on Xantus platforms due to its availability in several deck sizes and its variable X-range.



Tecan's Te-Shake handles microplates, deep-well plates, microfuge and PCR tubes, with the added option of sample heating up to 80° C.

This module is software-controlled and fully compatible with Tecan’s pipetting platforms, providing automated transport of plates to and from the shaker platform.

With its dynamic shaking range, configurable orbit/amplitude and variable rotating direction, Te-Shake allows easy optimization of extended mixing.

Barcode reader


PosID provides automatic barcode reading for labware and carriers at any position on the worktable. Carriers and labware can be automatically identified before or during processing, confirming the identity of samples, reagents and assay vessels.

The PosID module is mounted at the rear of the worktable on Freedom EVO® 100, 150 or 200 platforms. The module can identify barcodes mounted on labware carriers, identifying in the first instance which labware type is present on the carrier.
